Inactivity

I have a very large backlog to catch up on here. Earlier, it was primarily work devolving into such a pandemonium I’ve had little sleep from July through early November! In November itself, however; the delay has largely been due to a request to resume publishing annual flash drive compilations instead. (It’s been 3 years since, so triple the scope was covered this time.)

A traditional stumbling block for me publishing here is the feeling I have to write a lot. Realistically I just need to shorten these writings down and focus more on the pictures, but this dread has stopped at least a couple posts’ worth from being published.

This site is the closest thing I have to a public image (especially after withdrawing from social media in May). At present, I’m planning on keeping the site running for at least another year but long-term I’m thinking of changing over to just publishing a year’s worth on a flash drive. Flash drives seem more impactful at this point, but the site is undeniably easier to access.

Perhaps I could broaden this site’s scope a bit more into either a more traditional blog or cover more media types. I am experimenting some with basic animation using a tablet with GIMP, and also starting to take up acrylic painting. Both are thoroughly amateur at this point, but there are some creations I’ve shown to a few others close to me.
